Norman L. Rehme’s 3D Fine Art Prints
For years I have enjoyed looking at the world in 3D. I've done it as most of us done--- in stereo vision. I also have done it with two dimensional items. Examples are the well known stereoscopic cards from grandma's attic or antique stores. I would also find objects with repeating patterns and cross my eyes to get the same three dimensional effect.
I thought I was alone in this technique, but not true. Others do it as well in what is called "freeviewing."
In printing and showing my large stereo images to others, I discovered that most people can learn how to do it. That has opened up another dimension to my photography.
My goal is to create beautiful fine art photographic prints that are worthy of awards, and, if you know the trick, get to see them further in the marvelous world of 3D.
Why should we see anything less. We see the world in 3D all the time. Photographs should be enjoyed the same way the photographer captured them. That is the key, they must be captured in stereo correctly and then printed properly.
I have taken photographs over 40 years and this is a new level in my craft. I hope you enjoy and get excited as much as I have about the third dimension.
