...and More

No matter which hat she's wearing – public speaker, professional storyteller, committed writer – Carol McAdoo Rehme peppers everything she does with enthusiasm.

As a professional storyteller, she practices and witnesses the impact of story on individuals. She performs, presents, and keynotes at educational and corporate conferences, festivals, and tradeshows.

Her current passion is “Silver Linings for Golden Agers,” a unique program for eldercare facilities. This grant-driven, original model incorporates a stimulating mix of story and activities created to decrease social isolation, encourage reality orientation, and revitalize sagging morale in assisted living centers, long-term healthcare centers, and adult day cares.

A prolific freelancer who has found a niche in the inspirational market, Carol is a regular contributor to the best-selling Chicken Soup for the Soul series. Her stories also appear in a variety of other anthologies. She is the primary contributor to two collections, Whispers from Heaven for the Christmas Spirit and An Angel by Your Side. She dabbles in magazine writing as well as writing for children.

A Kansas transplant, Carol has dug her roots deep in Loveland, CO. She is the mother of four, claims the dubious title, mother-in-law, and is excited about her newest role: grandma!
