"In My Dreams"

Best of Show, RMPPA

I'm particularly fond of this image because it is my daughter. The right film and filters coupled with a well placed thin cloud create a memorable timeless portrait.

"Peaches and Cream"

First Place, Children, Colorado

A charming child's face always makes your heart stop for just a second. A light drizzle added to the soft light wrapping around her.

"Greeting the Dawn"

2nd Place, B&W, Colorado

A senior portrait doesn't always have to been stoic. With an unusual cropping of the photograph, a new level of impact was added.

"Looking Ahead"

First Place, Wedding, Colorado

I love the story this photo tells. And, it's true. He joined her family and now they all have a lot to look forward to.

"My Garden Gate"

Merit Print, RMPPA

This iamge is actually a polaroid that was hand manipulated while still wet. A dental tool is all it took.

"Eye on Texas"

2nd Place Portrait, Hays Arts Council

A real Texas Ranger, Kelly Pruit, is also an author and life-worn cowboy.

"Life-long Lessons"

First Place Family, Colorado

A pretty family and a musical interlude, what could be more harmonious. It's hard to tell that a spring rain nearly drowned us all out.

"Comet Over Devil's Backbone"

Merit Print, RMPPS

A time exposure of 15 minutes captures the comet and the stars circling around the north star.
